Early Ed Coaching

What Virtual Coaching Looks Like (using the EEC app)

Virtual coaching offers flexible, personalized support, without sacrificing depth, connection, or impact. Whether you’re in a classroom, at home, or planning during a quiet moment, virtual coaching meets you where you are.

How We Work Together

1. Initial Connection & Goal Setting

We begin with a virtual intake meeting to discuss your role, setting, and priorities. Together, we identify clear goals aligned to your students’ needs, your professional values, and your current challenges.

2. Live Coaching Sessions (Video-Based)

Coaching sessions are held via secure video conferencing. Sessions are collaborative, supportive, and practical, focused on real classroom scenarios, not theory alone.

Sessions may include:

  • Reflective conversation and problem-solving
  • Instructional planning and lesson design
  • Reviewing student work or classroom data
  • Strategy modeling and walkthroughs
  • Support for behavior, routines, and engagement

3. Classroom Observation (Optional)

When appropriate, teachers may share:

  • Short video clips of instruction
  • Photos of classroom setups or student work
  • Lesson plans or schedules

These are used strictly for coaching reflection and growth, never evaluation.

4. Action Steps & Between-Session Support

  • Written summaries and coaching notes
  • Strategy templates or tools
  • Follow-up resources tailored to your goals
  • Email support for quick questions or reflections

What Virtual Coaching Is (and Is Not)

Virtual coaching IS:

  • Strengths-based and teacher-centered
  • Confidential and non-evaluative
  • Flexible and responsive to real-time needs
  • Focused on sustainable, practical change

Virtual coaching is NOT:

  • A performance evaluation
  • One-size-fits-all training
  • Compliance-driven or scriptedt

Who Virtual Coaching Works Best For

Virtual coaching is especially effective for:

  • Pre-K and early elementary educators
  • New or transitioning teachers
  • Teachers seeking fresh perspective or renewed confidence
  • Schools or programs without access to onsite coaching
  • Educators balancing busy schedules

Technology & Access

All you need is:

  • A stable internet connection
  • A device with a camera and microphone
  • Willingness to reflect, try, and grow

We will be using the Early Ed. Coaching app/platform, which is user-friendly and created with simplicity and privacy in mind.

The Experience

Virtual coaching feels like having a trusted thinking partner, someone who listens deeply, honors your expertise, and helps you move forward with clarity and confidence.

If you’re ready for meaningful growth without added pressure, virtual coaching may be the perfect fit.

Confidentiality & Professional Boundaries

All coaching conversations and materials are confidential within the limits outlined in your agreement. Coaching is separate from supervision, evaluation, or compliance monitoring.

This professional boundary ensures coaching remains a safe space for reflection, experimentation, and honest conversation.

Final Thoughts

Virtual coaching is not about perfection, it’s about progress, reflection, and support. Together, we will focus on what matters most: effective instruction, responsive classrooms, and confident teachers.
